Opening night of Haunted 108’s Ghost Tours at the historic 108 Mile Heritage Site set the tone for what’s shaping up to be an unforgettable season. With a group of 15 eager guests—many experiencing the tour for the very first time—the energy was high, the curiosity was real, and the spirits did not disappoint. From the moment the tour began inside the Post House, the activity was undeniable. Downstairs, the mysterious “Blue Man” made his presence known in a big way—triggering K2 meters, tugging on a guest’s coat, and even filling the back room with the unmistakable scent of floral perfume. Upstairs, “Mary” welcomed visitors by lighting up cat balls and engaging with the group, adding a warm yet eerie charm to her space.

As the tour continued into the main house, the paranormal activity only intensified. The resident ghost cat kept guests entertained with playful interactions, while a young spirit known as “Emily” lit up detection equipment throughout the Men’s Lounge. Over in the Women’s Lounge, “Lady Evelyn” seemed to delight in the company—especially when the piano was played—creating a moment that felt both elegant and otherworldly. One guest even experienced consistent meter hits while seated on the couch, suggesting she may not have been alone enjoying the music. Out at the Watson Barn, shadows danced across the space, with multiple guests reporting sightings of a ghostly dog darting across the floor—and one even swearing she saw the head of a horse emerge from a stall. After more than 2.5 hours of spine-tingling encounters and unforgettable moments, the night wrapped with smiles, stories, and a shared sense of wonder.
